Today we had to say goodbye to our hosts for the last 5 days, which was very sad. Pat and Coleman had made me very welcome and took me for a final walk around Salmon Arm, so that I could see the ospreys and the western grebes, and I got to look in their RV. Then Lynda and Coleman drove us to Summerland/Penticton via the Mission Hills winery, just south of Kelowna. The views were spectacular and we did a little tasting. Now we are looking forward to getting to know our new hosts and enjoying our vocational and cultural visits in this area. RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) tomorrow and they don't were there red!

ReplyDeleteYour 'tour' sounds wonderful, all the sites that you have seen, the things that you have done and the food you have eaten. All that I can say is Travelsphere watch out. Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a lovely holiday with Malcolm.
Regards to everyone,
Lynda
Hi Lynda, I glad you have dropped in to view, I have just added loads today as I finally got a bit of time. I think our host have done a really excellent job at explaining about the Okanagen, much better than Travelsphere, but perhaps as good as Rod, the coach driver. Sue
