We had another really interesting day today, in Penticton. Doug, Penny and I went to visit the RCMP and while Penny asked all the good, searching questions I established that they do all have the red surge uniform, but only wear it for ceremonial occasions. Kieran and Sarah went to the Summerland public works where they met the Mayor.
We visited 'Tickleberries' and saw an amazing array of ice creams and fudges and ended the day at Lost Moose Lodge for a wonderful evening meal, where we watched the sun go down over the Okanagen Lake.

I am glad you are looking in Jim. Yes we are crossing the border tomorrow, and enjoying our stay in Walnut Beach. I thought we should have a picture taken where the D5060 team did, but I haven't figured out where that is yet and the team seem to be in the hot tub all the time!!
